Man accused of stealing beer
Watsontown, Pa. — A Lemoyne man was charged for allegedly stealing beer from a property in Northumberland County. Trp. Tyler Arbogast of state police at Milton says Jason Aikey, 49, took three beer cans the evening of July 2 from the private property on Firehouse Lane in Delaware Township. Aikey was charged with theft and trespassing through the office of District Judge Michael Diehl in Milton.
2 fire tanker trucks heading to large warehouse blaze crash, injuring 7 firefighters
YORK, Pa. (AP) — Authorities say seven firefighters were injured when two tanker trucks crashed while responding to a large blaze in York, Pennsylvania. Officials said the crash occurred shortly before 11 p.m. Friday in Spring Garden Township, about a third of a mile from the large warehouse fire in the city.
