After more than four years, Great Flood Middletown has closed its doors.

"Thank you for the four and a half years we had serving you," an Instagram post from the restaurant states. "Please feel free to visit us at our Highland location which will continue to operate as normal."

The brewery,12717 Shelbyville Road, opened its second location in January 2020, which also featured a restaurant. Its menu included dishes such as a Hot Brown as well as pizza, burgers, sandwiches, plus about 20 beers on tap, the Courier Journal previously reported.

Great Flood's taproom on Bardstown Road does not have a restaurant and will continue to operate. It's open Monday-Thursday, 3-10 p.m., Friday, 2-11 p.m., Saturday, noon to 11 p.m. and Sunday, noon to 10 p.m.
