MIDDLETOWN, NJ: The Township has so many great things to do and summer is a great time to enjoy the beautiful nature the community has to share. Come dig up Middletown history at the Poricy Brook Fossil Beds. Expect to find marine fossils from the Cretaceous period, 65-72 million years ago. Our guide will supply equipment for screening for fossils and help identify your treasures. Read this information about the Poricy Brook Fossil Beds here and see available dates below:
