Styer Orchard will light up the July 4 sky on Thursday.
The orchard, located at 97 Styers Lane off Woodbourne Road in Middletown, announced its first July Fourth celebration lineup on Facebook earlier this year and this week said it was still available for those looking to celebrate Independence Day.
But as of Wednesday, the event was sold out. No walk-in tickets are available and the farm is monitoring the weather with a raindate of Friday.

Styer Orchard's July Fourth celebration
In the initial post, organizers said they have been working on this year's celebration for some time.
"We’ve been working on something big all winter and here it is; Fourth of July at the farm. On Thurs., July 4, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., we will be celebrating down at the farm and in the field by the store," read a portion of Styer Orchard's Facebook post. "There will be a DJ, kids games, face painting, cornhole, balloon animals, a parade for the kids, Men of Harmony Choir, hayrides, and more.

"It’s just not the Fourth without some fireworks," the post continued. "After Men of Harmony finishes singing some patriotic songs the evening will be capped off by a professional fireworks show."
Tickets are $4 per person, and will be avialable for purchase soon.
More about Styer Orchard
The 107-acre Styer Orchard and farm offers free hayrides out to the orchard and welcomes pets to come along for the ride. The orchard is open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday.
There are plans to expand the orchard by adding nearly 1,000 new fruit trees.

Tim Field, the second generation in his family to oversee, operate and farm the township-owned orchard, said the new additions are needed.
He, and the community and patrons who come out to carry on the pick-your-own tradition each season, will see the literal fruits of his labor in about three years. Planning is everything at the orchard.
Field has been working to bring new events and offering to Styer Orchard since signing a new operation contract with the township in 2021. He has renovated the store on site and brought other special events in, like last summer's pick-your-own sunflower fields.
