MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — Montgomery County Fire and Rescue said a large tree fell into a house in Silver Spring on Saturday evening, displacing one person and five dogs. According to the department’s spokesperson, Pete Piringer, the incident occurred at 14900 Wellwood Road. Piringer said the structural damage is significant.

Kentlands Bar Crawl Raises More Than $1700 For Charity
The Kentlands Bar Crawl, an event that started over 20 years ago and has grown to include more than 150 people this year, has raised $1720 for Feed the Fridge.
