Lincoln Park student Emma Bogacki dead after being involved in fatal car crash Friday night

A 17-year-old Lincoln Park student was one of three people killed in a Friday night crash in Lawrence County.

Emma Bogacki, her father, Nathan, and brother Grant died at the scene. Her 10-year-old sister was hurt in the crash and flown to a Pittsburgh hospital listed in critical condition.

In a story from Channel 11 news, the Lawrence County coroner told the channel that an SUV crossed the center line and went off road shearing a telephone pole and hitting a parked car before becoming airborne and hitting a tree.

Bogacki was entering her senior year at Lincoln Park Charter School in Midland. She was a duel-sport athlete playing basketball for the Leopards and a standout softball pitcher for the Western Beaver Golden Beavers.
