WHIPPANY, NJ - On Monday, September 30th, Whippany Park and Hanover Park faced off in an exciting girls' soccer match that ended in a 2-2 draw. Hanover Park took the lead early, with forward Abby Liebhauser finding the back of the net in the first half, assisted by Sydney Shepard. Lady Eagles Win 10th Straight
DENVILLE, NJ – Morris Knolls got goal-scoring efforts from four different players as the Lady Eagles turned back Kearny, 4-2, for their 10 straight victory in a girls high school soccer game played at Knolls on Tuesday, Oct. 1.Seniors Charlie Perna and Madison Kenny and junior Julianna Critchley and Maggie Krasnomowitz each scored goals for the Lady Eagles, who have not lost a match since their opening-day loss to Sparta in the first week of September.CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP FOR THE FREE TAPINTO.NET NEWSLETTERPerna added an assist and seniors Kaitlyn Forand and Giana Mikula also had assists to round out the scoring for Knolls.Senior Trisha Patel and junior Tariyana Sango shared the goalkeeping duties with Patel finishing with two saves and Sango stopping the only shot on goal she faced. HS Girls Volleyball: Wood-Ridge Rallies to Defeat Hasbrouck Heights
WOOD-RIDGE, NJ – Wood-Ridge rallied from being down 1-0 to beat Hasbrouck Heights 2-1 in a NJIC Meadowlands girls volleyball game on Monday afternoon in Wood-Ridge. Wood-Ridge improved to 8-5 overall and 4-2 in the Meadowlands with the win. Parsippany Boys Soccer Takes the Win in Game Versus Morris Tech
PARSIPPANY, NJ– The Parsippany boys soccer team secured a solid 3-1 victory against Morris Tech on Monday. The win improves Parsippany's record to 4-6 on the season, while Morris Tech falls to 4-8.Parsippany wasted no time taking the lead in the first half, with David Ferriera netting the opening goal, assisted by Christian Castano. McGavin’s Two Goals beat Roxbury
DENVILLE, NJ – Senior forward Colleen McGavin scored the only two goals of the game and senior keeper Emily Hollner registered her fourth shutout of the season as the Morris Knolls High School field hockey team turned back Roxbury, 2-0, in a match played Monday, Sept. 30, at Knolls.McGavin has nine goals for the season, six of them coming in her last last three games. She scored her first goal of the game in the first period and her second in the fourth and final period.
