MIDLAND, Texas (KMID/KPEJ)- The Federal Aviation Administration is expected to investigate after a small plane crashed at Midland International Air and Space Port on Saturday.

According to City leaders, around 5:00 p.m. On June 29, crews with the Midland Fire Department responded to MAF after a small plane “belly’ landed on the runway.

Two people were on board, but no injuries were reported.

Officials stated the runaway where the landing took place is closed until the aircraft is relocated, but the airport still is operating as usual.
