MIDLAND, Texas (KMID/KPEJ) – The City of Midland has announced a pair of new tools for residents who want to help improve the city.

“SeeClickFix” is a platform for reporting non-emergency issues like potholes, graffiti, and streetlight outages. The City said “SeeClickFix” is user-friendly and provides real-time updates so Midlanders can quickly report problems and track progress.

“The City of Midland has paid a lot of attention and effort to communicate well with our citizens and make sure that we are accessible as city leadership to be able to address problems and concerns within the community,” said Midland Mayor Lori Blong.

The City also unveiled “Ask Jacky,” a new website chatbot that can answer questions. City officials said the new chatbot covers city services, events schedules, local regulations, and more.

Officials are also asking residents for input on how the City should spend its budget.

The City said they also have a survey that allows residents to voice their opinions on various topics, including funding for public services, infrastructure projects, and community programs. The survey closes at midnight on July 10, however, so residents must participate quickly. You can find that survey here .
