    Midland Councilman John Norman announces intent to run for re-election

    MIDLAND, Texas (KMID/KPEJ)- Midland City Councilman John Norman announced that he intends to run for re-election for District 2 City Council in November.

    On Tuesday, June 16, Councilman John Norman, a Councilmember since February 24, 2020, announced his intent to run for re-election. Norman said that if he is re-elected, he will focus on attracting new businesses to create job opportunities within District 2 and promote investments in infrastructure, housing, and community facilities.

    “I am dedicated to the growth and prosperity of District 2,” said Councilman Norman. “With your support, we can continue to make significant strides in creating a vibrant and thriving community.”

    According to the press release, during Councilman Norman’s tenure, he has already made significant progress and improvements. The following list from the re-election press release includes the achievements of Councilman Norman:
