N.J. teen charged in fatal shooting awaiting extradition from Virginia
A 15-year-old was taken into custody in Virginia as part of an investigation into a fatal shooting of a man in Trenton earlier this month, officials announced Thursday. The Trenton teen, whose identity was not released, was charged with one count of first-degree murder, one count of second-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and one count of second-degree unlawful possession of a weapon, according to the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office.
