Martinsburg Native Scores Dancer Role In ‘Hamilton’ Touring Company
Martinsburg native Sabrina Harrison grew up dancing at a local studio. She took that passion for dance with her into college, and now into a full-time career in New York City. Next month, Harrison will join the touring cast for the musical “Hamilton,” and she’ll be dancing on stages across the United States. Eastern Panhandle Reporter Jack Walker spoke with Harrison to discuss her upbringing in West Virginia, and her career so far.

Work continues quickly on the new Trader Joe’s coming to Leesburg — and we have an update from the corporate headquarters on when they hope to open the new grocery store. Construction crews continue to swarm the space in the Fort Evans Plaza II shopping center. DMV Empanadas at 560 N. Frederick Ave. in the Gaithersburg Square shopping center has announced it will hold its soft opening on Monday, July 29. DMV Empanadas was previously located at 113 E Diamond Ave in Olde Towne Gaithersburg. The restaurant features over 25 flavors of empanadas, including bacon & cheese, cheeseburger, and Old Bay shrimp.
