One Dead, Five Wounded in Separate Shootings Hours Apart in Chicago's North Lawndale
Chicago's North Lawndale neighborhood was the scene of a violent day on Monday with two separate shootings occurring mere hours apart, leaving one man dead and five others wounded. According to CBS Chicago, the fatal incident took place around 3 p.m. in the backyard of a residence located on the 4100 block of West Cermak Road. A 37-year-old man succumbed to a gunshot wound to the head at the scene. Alongside him, a 34-year-old man suffered a leg injury, and a 26-year-old was shot in the chest and armpit.
