Police Catch Car Break-in Suspect in Jonesboro
JONESBORO, Ark. – Authorities tracked down a vehicle break-in suspect last week in Jonesboro. On July 10, 2024, officers from the Jonesboro Police Department were notified of multiple suspects walking through a neighborhood and attempting to open car doors, according to the probable cause affidavit. Officers arrived and began searching for the suspects. Police spoke to a witness who said he had seen the suspects opening car doors. The witness gave a direction of travel.

Dallas County authorities said over $72,000 has been raised for the victims of the deadly Fordyce mass shooting. The donations were raised through an account at Fordyce Bank and Trust and will be evenly distributed between the victims of the shooting through the Victims First organization through their partnership with the Arkansas Community Foundation.

WYNNE — A concerned citizen has offered a $2,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of those responsible for recent vehicle break-ins in the City of Wynne. Wynne Police Chief Richard Dennis said the city has seen a noticeable uptick in vehicle burglaries in the past year. He said it is an ongoing trend across Eastern Arkansas and the City of Wynne is not immune.
