Two of Oklahoma's top 2025 basketball recruits are headed elsewhere for their final high school season.

Midwest City guard Carlsheon Young and Putnam City West forward Kaidon Rayfield are transferring to PHHoenix Prep in Arizona to play for the Diamond Doves in the Overtime Elite League. PHH announced their choice on social media Thursday.

The move reunites the duo. They played together as freshmen at Putnam City West.

Young, an Oklahoma State commit, is a three-star prospect and the state's top recruit according to the 247Sports composite rankings. Rayfield is also rated as a three-star prospect with offers from LSU, OU, OSU, Oral Roberts and Tulsa, among others.

Young spent the past year at Midwest City and led the Bombers to their fifth-ever state title. His stellar junior season in which he averaged 18.6 points and 6.6 rebounds earned him a spot on The Oklahoman's Super 5 first team and Big All-City Player of the Year honors.

Rayfield was named to The Oklahoman's Super 5 third team following a dominant junior year, averaging 16 points, eight rebounds and 2.5 blocks.
