We made it! It’s officially the first game week of the 2024 College Football Season with Week 0 kicking off on Saturday. With Fall Camp winding down and rosters taking shape, our staff decided to give their picks for each FBS Conference and their top 5 preseason Heisman candidates.

Ohio State , Boise State , Liberty , Memphis , and Georgia appeared on most lists for winning their respective conferences. The ACC saw Miami, Clemson , and NC State all named as potential winners while the Sun Belt had App State , Texas State , and Troy appear on a list. The Big 12 is the most wide-open Power 4 conference according to our writers as Kansas , Kansas State , and Utah all received picks to win the conference and its automatic bid to the 12-team playoff.
Our preseason Heisman Picks were also pretty similar with Carson Beck (UGA), Dillon Gabriel (Oregon), Jalen Milroe (Alabama), Jaxon Dart (Miss), and Quinshon Judkins (Ohio State) appearing on the most lists.
