Cam Ward & Desmond Reid headline Midseason All-Transfer Offense

Countless 2023/2024 transfers have made an impact during the first half of the 2024 season. Today we take a look at the Midseason All-Transfer Offense:

QB: Cam Ward, Miami-Florida (Washington State)

Passing for 2,219 yards, 20 touchdowns and five interceptions, Ward has been a huge part of the Canes being undefeated and #6

RB: Desmond Reid, Pittsburgh (Western Carolina)

One of the biggest surprises in the country, Reid is the Panthers leading rusher with 494 yards and three touchdowns, has 25 receptions for 341 yards and four touchdowns and has returned a punt 78 yards for a touchdown.

WR Ja’Corey Brooks, Louisville (Alabama)

Brooks is having the best season of his collegiate career with 30 receptions for 572 yards and six touchdowns. He is also averaging 19.1 yards per reception.

WR Josh Kelly, Texas Tech (Washington State)

Now in his sixth collegiate season and with almost 2,000 career receiving yards, 2024 may end up being his best yet with 44 receptions for 514 yards and three touchdowns through six games.

WR Elijah Sarratt, Indiana (James Madison)

Sarratt is a huge piece of Indiana’s explosive offense, with 29 receptions for 513 yards and two touchdowns through six games. He is also averaging 17.7 yards per reception.

TE Eli Stowers, Vanderbilt (New Mexico State)

While QB Diego Pavia has been the top transfer story at Vanderbilt, Stowers has quietly impressed with 25 receptions for 333 yards and one touchdown for the surprising Commodores.

OL Brandon Crenshaw-Dickson, Florida (San Diego State)

After earning his first start after week one, Crenshaw-Dickson has entrenched himself as the first-team right tackle for the Gators.

OL Seth McLaughlin, Ohio State (Alabama)

McLaughlin immediately took on the role as a veteran leader on the offensive line and has quickly become one of the top centers in the Big Ten and country.

OL Parker Brailsford, Alabama (Washington)

A preseason All-American, Brailsford has not disappointed in Tuscaloosa. He took over the starting center position from Seth McLaughlin (see above).

OL Luke Newman, Michigan State (Holy Cross)

While he played tackle at Holy Cross, he has successfully made the move to left guard for the Spartans. Has steadily improved this season with his best showing coming in the Spartans last game at Oregon.

OL Cayden Green, Missouri (Oklahoma)

Missouri added a couple of important pieces to the offensive line through the portal, but it has been Green who has been more impressive and consistent. Starting at left guard, the sophomore, has also improved throughout the first half of the season.
