Long before Andy Reid guided two separate franchises to the Super Bowl, he spent two seasons in the late ‘80s pacing the sidelines at Sun Bowl Stadium in El Paso, Texas.

One of the most successful head coaches in the storied history of the National Football League called the Sun City home while coaching the offensive line at the University of Texas at El Paso from 1987 to 1988.

Since those formative years as a Miners assistant, he’s won four Super Bowl rings to date: three as head coach of the Chiefs (2020, 2023, 2024) and as an assistant coach with the Green Bay Packers in 1997.

Two of his current assistants in KC, Dave Troub and Ken Flajole, coached alongside Reid at UTEP and are also among the shortlist of Miners coaches and players who’ve earned professional football's most coveted blinged out memento.
