Serious Injury Crash In Mercer County
A Princeton woman had serious injuries in a two-vehicle crash in Mercer County Friday. Forty-three-year-old Rachel Franklin of Princeton was flown to St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City following the crash that occurred at about 3:55 pm on Route E, SE of Princeton. According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, Franklin was westbound, crossed the center line, and was traveling in the eastbound lane. An eastbound vehicle driven by 27-year-old Eldo Eaglen of Milan swerved to avoid the collision, but the passenger side of the vehicles struck.
Drivers In Two Vehicle Crash Have Minor Injuries
A two-vehicle crash in Linn County Friday evening left both drivers with minor injuries. State Troopers report 43-year-old Amber Gully of Marceline was westbound on Lowen Road near Marceline and 22-year-old Taylor Douglas of Brookfield was eastbound. The vehicles met in a blind curve and struck in the middle of the roadway. Both drivers were taken to Northeast Regional Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries. Douglas was not wearing a safety belt.
