Petition to send Rapid City Vision Fund changes to the ballot fails after 479 signatures invalidated
RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) - Petitions to refer the Rapid City Vision Fund Revision Ordinance to a vote in November failed to collect enough valid signatures, Rapid City Finance Director Daniel Ainslie announced. A total of 2,707 signatures were required - that number is five percent of Rapid City’s registered voters.
State University Student Seth Martens Awarded Schaefer Scholarship
ABERDEEN, S.D. – Northern State University is proud to announce that Seth Martens, a physical education major in the teacher education program, has been awarded the Schaefer Scholarship for the 2024 academic year.
