SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - Seven nonprofits in the Sioux Falls area received a share of $600,000 in grants on Monday for community-based problem-solving efforts. In partnership with the Bush Foundation, the South Dakota Community Foundation awarded the grants through their Beyond Idea Grant program. Man accused of killing Rapid City woman with can of beans claims cause of death was ‘spontaneous’
RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) - The Rapid City man accused of killing Edleigha Little back, 40, in November of last year had another appearance in court Monday. Pedro Simental, 44, is charged with one count of first-degree manslaughter. He is accused of hitting Little with a can of beans, causing trauma to her head which resulted in her death on November 10.
