Police investigation underway outside home in Milford

Police blocked off a Milford street for hours on Monday amid an investigation.

Video shows multiple police cruisers blocking off part of Purchase Street. A puddle of blood and sneakers was also blocked off with yellow crime scene tape.

One neighbor said she was woken up around 3:40 a.m. on Monday for a woman screaming and begging her to call 911.

“I saw a bunch of cops walking around and I don’t know there was neighbors outside watching and I really don’t know what happened but it was pretty scary,” said Lisa Capece.

Video shows officers focusing on the back of a house in that area.

Boston 25 has reached out to Milford Police multiple times asking what happened and how the victim is doing but hasn’t heard back.
