Fatal Crash Claims a Life on Route 18
EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ - On ThursdaY, July 25, 2024, at approximately 2:00 am, East Brunswick police officers responded to the intersection of Highway 18 North and South Woodland Avenue for the report of a motor vehicle crash involving an operator of an electric bicycle. The bicyclist, Rohit Sharma (25-year-old male), was critically injured and pronounced deceased. The driver of the vehicle was uninjured and remained at the scene of the crash. Applications Available for Edison's First Great Big Italian American Festival
EDISON, NJ - The township is accepting vendor applications for its first annual ‘Great Big Italian American Festival.’ The festival is scheduled for Saturday, September 14, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Lake Papaianni. Vendor applications can be found by clicking here. The deadline to submit a vendor application is Monday, September 2. Applications must be submitted via email. According to the application, spaces are limited and will be given on a first-come, first-served basis. All food vendors must submit the attached temporary retail food application to the Edison Health Department. Those cooking with open flames must submit the temporary retail food establishment application to Daniel DiNuzzo of the Edison Fire Department. The festival will be held outside.
