The annual Mecum Harrisburg collector car auction will return to the PA Farm Show Complex, beginning tomorrow. Intoxicated woman gets into fight while tubing with toddler in York County, police say
YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — A Harrisburg woman has been charged with child endangerment following an incident at Yellow Breeches Creek. Shauna Chambers, 33, was arrested after police responded to the 500 block of Trimmer Drive on July 6 for reports of an intoxicated woman with a toddler, according to Fairview Township Police.
DoD Requiring New ID for Retired Military
JULY 22, 2024 – Beginning in 2026, the legacy Uniformed Services Identification (USID) card will no longer be accepted for access to benefits, privileges, or DoD bases. According to the DoD Common Access Card website, USID cards are issued to retired military and Reserve members, dependent family members of uniformed Service members, and other eligible individuals in accordance with DoD policy. On July 31, 2020, the DoD started issuing the Next Generation USID cards at select DoD ID card facilities with a phased implementation for all facilities which was completed in December that year.

State College, PA- The Frederick Keys dropped the first of four games to the State College Spikes Tuesday night, losing by a score of 14-7 at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park. A growing metal fabrication company in York County has purchased the former Wayneco Cabinetry plant, which has been idle since the cabinetry business shut down this spring. BMB Holdings LLC paid $3.3 million for the 81,000 square-foot facility, which is at 800 Hanover Road in Jackson Township, west of York city.
