NEWPORT, Ill. (WFRV) – A southern Wisconsin man reportedly died after fleeing from police in Wisconsin and crashing into an SUV in Illinois. According to the Lake County Sheriff’s Office in Illinois, on July 6 around 4:30 p.m., deputies responded to a reported crash with injuries. When authorities got to the scene, two vehicles were found with ‘major’ damage.
