Starry Night Cat Café opened June 29 at The Whiting Place, 1141 Clark St. in Stevens Point. I recently stopped by and talked with the owner, Lexi Peterson. We talked about her vision for the space for both cats and humans alike. The café is part of the Humane Society of Portage County's foster program and hosts about 10 cats who are available for adoption. People can purchase tickets to hang out with the cats in their own separate space and apply to adopt them. Not into cats? There's a cat-free café with various beverages and treats and events, as well.
