A San Francisco man is speaking out after someone yelling anti-LGBTQIA+ slurs, attacked him Sunday. Trevor Chandler, a candidate for District 9 Supervisor, said he was about to begin canvassing his neighborhood along Harrison Street. He said as he crossed 23rd Street, a man began yelling slurs at him. Chandler added after he took a few more steps, the man threw a metal A-frame at him. A huge, fast-moving and rapidly growing wildfire in northern California has forced more than 4,000 people to evacuate as firefighters battle gusty winds and perilously dry conditions, authorities said Friday.
