Trevor Chandler, a candidate for District 9 Supervisor, said he was about to begin canvassing his neighborhood along Harrison Street. He said as he crossed 23rd Street, a man began yelling slurs at him. Chandler added after he took a few more steps, the man threw a metal A-frame at him.
