MILLBURN, NJ -- The Millburn Free Public Library began its annual Summer Reading Contest on June 17, but there’s still time to join because it runs until August 9.

Mary Moore, Marketing Outreach & Communications Librarian shared, “There's still plenty of time to join the ‘Adventure Begins at Your Library’ Summer Reading Challenge for all ages.” She stressed that summer reading is not just for kids.

Moore explained that adults and teens can earn raffle tickets for logging the books they read until August 9. The raffle tickets go into weekly drawings for a chance at winning their amazing prizes. Visit millburnlibrary.beanstack.org to get started.

“Thank you to the Friends of the Millburn Library for the wonderful prizes,” she added.

Last year , 1,341 readers read 41,675 books, and the librarians want residents to beat that record.

The Challenge is run via the Beanstack app.
