    New footage shows suspect truck in fatal Millcreek hit-and-run

    MILLCREEK, Utah ( ABC4 ) — Authorities have released more footage of the suspect vehicle in a Millcreek hit-and-run that killed a 20-year-old woman over the weekend.

    On Monday, Unified Police released surveillance footage from a gas station several blocks from where the hit-and-run occurred.

    The footage, which can be seen in the video player below, shows what appears to be a silver Nissan Titan with a broken front headlight turning onto 2700 South from 2000 East.

    According to investigators, the hit-and-run happened early Saturday morning at 2300 East and 3051 South. The victim, later identified as 20-year-old Lindsey VanOrman of Salt Lake City, was trying to help a cat in the road when she was struck by a vehicle.

    VanOrman died in the hospital Saturday night. A GoFundMe has been set up to cover her funeral expenses.

    Unified Police are asking the public’s help for information on the hit-and-run. People are asked to share their tips with dispatch at 801-840-4000 and reference case number C024-70166.
