West Valley City, Utah – Forward Aaron Aragon is returning to the Utah Grizzlies for the 2024-25 season. Aragon signed with Utah on Nov. 21, 2023 and went on to post 16 points (10g-6a) in 59 games with the club. St. George area grocery stores may be sold as part of Kroger-Albertsons merger
ST. GEORGE — Two grocery stores in the St. George area are set to be sold by Kroger Foods should that company’s bid to merge with Albertsons go through. As part of a pending $25 billion merger plan announced in October 2022, the two companies released a list of stores to be offloaded earlier this week. In all, 579 grocery stores, six distribution centers and one processing plant spread across 18 states and the District of Columbia are to be sold.
Salt Lake woman charged with setting husband on fire
SALT LAKE CITY — A Salt Lake woman was charged Thursday with lighting her husband on fire and not allowing him to get help until he promised not to turn her in. Cecilia Cuevas, 31, is charged in 3rd District Court with aggravated arson, a first-degree felony; obstruction of justice, a second-degree felony; and two counts of domestic violence in the presence of a child, a third-degree felony.
