Tales of the Cocktail include some Park City stories
Park City will be well represented at the Tales of the Cocktail conference that will run from July 21-26 in New Orleans. High West Saloon‘s Matthew Huntley and Nicole Kuo Stankovic from Szechwan Chinese Kitchen will be on site as Grey Coat mentors in the Cocktail Apprenticeship Program (CAP), while High West Saloon’s Arianna Hone will be there, fittingly, in spirit.

Park City Institute‘s Concert on the Slopes series continues July 20 with Lead Singers of Classic Rock, featuring Jason Scheff, longtime lead singer of Chicago, and Tommy DeCarlo, a former lead singer of Boston at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 20, at Canyons Village stage. Scheff, who replaced Chicago bassist and vocalist Peter Cetera in 1985 and played with the band until 2016, is the son of Jerry Scheff, who played bass for Elvis Presley. Parkites gather for celebration of life honoring Tina Lewis
Lewis died unexpectedly at home on May 23. She was 78. She moved to Park City in 1977 and had served the community ever since. Lewis was first elected to the Park City Council in 1979 and served through the 1980s. She would go on to be the first full-time director of the Park City Arts Festival, now known as the Kimball Arts Festival.
