TPD, prosecutors file additional charge against man bitten by K-9 during traffic stop
TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) - Toledo police and prosecutors have filed an additional charge for against the man who was bitten by a K-9 during a traffic stop in April. The charge filed against Brandon Upchurch is for Failure to Comply with the Order or Signal of a Police Officer. The new charge, which has not been finalized, comes three months after the K-9 was released on him.

Comedy and cannabis: Jokes & Tokes Comedy Club brings something different to Dayton
There’s no typical two-drink minimum at a new comedy club in Dayton because its owners wanted people to experience comedy in a much different way. The Jokes & Tokes Comedy Club opened April 20 inside of Delta Dispo at 460 S. Patterson Road in Dayton. Delta Dispo, a dispensary, opened on April 1. The dispensary offers a variety of hemp products from flower to edibles. All their products contain less than .3% delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), which does not classify them as controlled substances, according to the 2018 Farm Bill.
City of Dayton’s $18 million housing initiative targets key neighborhoods for revitalization, helping residents
Dayton, Ohio – As part of the Dayton Recovery Plan, the City of Dayton has set aside more than $18 million for housing development and renovations in what appears to be an effort in improving the overall condition of the housing landscape across the city. Using money from the federal American Rescue Plan Act, this project intends to revitalize homes in Wolf Creek, Carillon, Edgemont, Miami Chapel, Five Oaks, Old North Dayton, and Twin Towers among several key locations.

Adrian pastor accused of child molestation
ADRIAN — A Lenawee County minister was arraigned Monday afternoon in Lenawee district court on two criminal sexual conduct charges following his arrest Saturday. The second-degree felony charges against Michael Ronald Goble filed in 2A District Court specify victims younger than age 13 and that the specific offenses occurred in November, 2021, court records show. But a statement from Adrian police said more charges are likely forthcoming, with potential locations of significance including the Maurice Spears Juvenile Campus, Church of the Good Shepherd, and Mr. Goble’s home. “Based on the totality of investigation thus far, more victims are believed to exist that have not yet been identified,” the police statement said.
