    MILLER COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Four people were arrested and charged with drug crimes on Thursday in Miller County.

Karey Varner, Kyle Nelson and David Saint were charged with two counts of second-degree drug trafficking and three counts of first-degree endangering the welfare of a child involving drugs. Taylor Blackburn was charged with drug possession and three counts of endangering the welfare of a child involving drugs.

All four are being held at the Morgan County Jail. Nelson and Saint are being held without bond, while Varner is being held on a $175,000 bond and Blackburn has a $100,000 bond. Court dates have not been scheduled for any of them.

According to multiple probable cause statements, Nelson was arrested on Wednesday during a traffic with children in his vehicle.

A search warrant was conducted early Thursday at a residence and methamphetamine, as well as meth mixed with fentanyl was found at the property, according to court documents.

The renaming three accused people and the same children at the traffic stop were at the residence, according to court documents. A search also took place at a location called a “shop” in court documents, where more than 1.1 pounds of meth mixed with fentanyl was allegedly found.

Nelson allegedly stated that he would sell the drugs and knew fentanyl was mixed, the statement says. Varner allegedly admitted to using drugs, court documents say.
