DNR reports wolf attacks on Spanish mustangs in Bayfield County
Several Spanish mustangs have been attacked by wolves in Bayfield County over the past couple months, according to the Department of Natural Resources. DURAND, Wis. (WEAU) - This year Blues on the Chippewa will be ON the Chippewa. The long-running music festival will be held in a new location this year, Veterans Memorial Park in Durand, on the shore of the Chippewa River. The event is free to attend and runs August 1-3. Donations are accepted to support community organizations. In the past, the event has supported the Durand Area Food Pantry, Brent Titus Music For Children Program, Pepin County Humane Society, seniors citizens programs, Durand Women’s Club ‘Fill a Backpack Program’, and the Pepin County Historical Society.
