Higher than normal volume of ‘Pets in car” cases in Eau Claire
EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – Eau Claire Police say they are seeing higher than normal cases of animals being left in hot cars. This can be bad for pets due to suffering from heat exhaustion and discomfort as cars can heat up quickly. Two motorcycle riders die after crashing into hill at a Crawford County intersection
A motorcycle reportedly crashed into a rocky hillside near Boscobel late Monday night, killing the two people who were riding on the cycle. The Crawford County sheriff’s office says the motorcycle driven by 43-year-old David Fillyaw of Muscoda crossed a Wisconsin River bridge on Highway 61 at a high rate of speed, and hit the rock wall head-on, instead of turning onto Highway 60 at an intersection.
