MILLTOWN, NJ - The borough's annual Fourth of July Parade is always a big draw. This year, though, the crowds of people lining the parade route were larger than usual. The parade featured a full line-up including bag pipes, the Milltown Fourth of July Band, local politicians, area Boy and Girls Scout Troops, the Milltown Little League, Karma Cat, Middlesex County 4H, the North Brunswick High School Marching Band, and much more. The youngest parade goers enjoyed darting back and forth to pick up candy. The ice pops, Little Bites snack cakes, patriotic pinwheels, and the Home Depot buckets were big hits with spectators.

The 90-minute plus parade, of course, included a parade of fire trucks, ambulances and police cars from Milltown, East Brunswick, New Brunswick and other nearby Middlesex County communities. There were also numerous classic cars featured in the parade as well.
