Man shot, injured at Pennsylvania Trump rally released from hospital
One of the two men shot and injured in the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump has been released from the hospital, officials said. David Dutch, 57, was discharged on Wednesday, Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh said. Dutch was shot in the chest and liver and was initially in a medically induced coma after the shooting, according to the Marine Corps League of Pennsylvania. Dutch is a former Marine who serves as commandant of his Marine Corps League detachment, the organization said.

Five-Year-Old Boy Falls 30 Ft. Near Waterfall at Waverly Glen Park
WAVERLY, N.Y. (WENY) -- A five-year-old boy was taken to the hospital with a cut on his head after falling 30 feet near a waterfall in the Waverly Glen Park area. Waverly Police say the boy was sitting in a pavilion when his Mother reached him and no rescue efforts were needed. Police say an investigation found the boy ran from his mother while she was focusing on her other children and that's when he fell down the embankment.

Muncy Shade Tree Commission plants Elm tree
The Muncy Shade Tree Commission recently planted a Princeton American Elm Tree at Waldon Park’s playground area. The tree was selected because it is a very fast growing tree. Linda Stein, a member of Muncy Borough Council, wanted a tree that would shade the tot lot at Waldron Park. Linda was instrumental in the tree design of the newly landscaped Waldron Park. This was the first large tree that the newly formed Muncy Shade Tree Commission has planted this year. Sunflower Festival returns to Muncy
Muncy, Pa. — Today Farm's annual Sunflower Festival is set to return Aug. 10. Susquehanna Mills Co., Today Farm & Market, and Bullfrog Brewery will be host the festival at Today Farm & Market, 215 Shady Lane, Muncy. A range of vendors, fun family activities, and food trucks will be available from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. People attending will have the opportunity to walk through the sunflower fields, pick their own sunflower, and find the best background for a photo.
