MILLVILLE — It was looking bleak for the reigning 4A state champions on more than one occasion, but they refused to fold. Instead, Green Canyon came storming back from a late 3-1 deficit and then came from behind in a shootout to steal one on the road against Ridgeline in a Region 11 girls soccer showdown on Thursday evening. The score was knotted up at 3-3 after 100 minutes of action, so the final outcome was contested from the penalty spot and the Wolves prevailed in a seven-round shootout, 5-4.

KAYSVILLE, Utah, Aug. 23, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — Multiple agencies joined together Friday night to end the Kaysville to Bountiful chase of a reckless rush hour driver. Events began at 4:48 p.m. when a Kaysville police officer made a traffic stop at 315 N Main St. on a grey Lexus SUV for traffic violations that almost caused an accident, Kaysville PD said in a 7:30 p.m. press release.
