Emilio Fontanez Jr., a 61-year-old resident of Yonkers was arrested for drug trafficking of heroin in Maine following an incident reported to the Milo Police Department on March 13, 2024.

Chief Nicholas Clukey responded to a call about an unconscious male behind the wheel of a vehicle around 7:14 am. He found the car on Elm Street obstructing the roadway with Fontanez asleep at the wheel. Chief Clukey secured the vehicle and awakened Fontanez. While now awake, the man exhibited signs of confusion, claiming he was at home despite being in his vehicle.

Upon inspection, Chief Clukey discovered several pieces of tin foil in the vehicle, prompting further suspicion. Emergency medical services evaluated and cleared Fontanez before police took him into custody.
