Teen wounded in Milton shooting incident

MILTON — A 19-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries when shot early Monday, Delaware State Police said.

Authorities said that at approximately 4:47 a.m., troopers responded to the 14000 block of Collins Street for a report of a shooting. When troopers arrived, police said, they found the man that had been shot in upper torso and began life-saving efforts, The victim was then taken to the hospital.

According to police, preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was living in a shed on the property when an unknown suspect fired several shots into the shed, hitting the victim.
