Lauren Stephenson Wins the 40th Playing of the Twin Bridges Championship
The first round ended with Lauren Stephenson tied at the top of the leaderboard, but the tournament ended with her name standing alone. I-84 Night Closures Near Pendleton
I-84 between Pendleton and Ontario will close for the next three to five nights to manage the Durkee Fire currently burning west of the interstate. The closures will begin at 7 p.m. with all lanes open again by 5 a.m. the following day. If other highways need to be closed in the area, they will be closed during the same time.
Walla Walla man arrested for voyeurism; police say he tried to film woman in bathroom
A 21-year-old man was arrested for voyeurism after filming a woman in a public restroom at Whitman College in Walla Walla. Just before 11:00 a.m. Thursday police received a call from a woman who said a stranger was following her. The woman pointed out Maxwell Grady to arriving officers. Grady was questioned by police, but released because he hadn't committed a crime. Over several weeks before that incident, Police received multiple complaints about a man following and filming women near Walla Walla Community College. Police later learned that it was Grady.
