Hoovler announced that on Friday, July 12, 2024, Rudolph Davis, age 31, of Newburgh, was convicted after a jury trial in the Orange County Court of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree, the sole charge against him. Davis faces up to fifteen (15) years in prison when he is scheduled to be sentenced on October 17, 2024. Davis was remanded back to the Orange County Jail without bail following the jury’s verdict.
