Hunter, 53, is a former special education teacher from Kent now residing in Chelan. He was facing charges of rape in the first degree, assault second degree, robbery first degree, kidnapping first degree, and two counts of possession with intent to deliver.

Suspect arrested in I-5 fatal stabbing in Federal Way
A suspect was identified in the murder of a 19-year-old man who died following a stab wound to the neck in a violent mid-day incident on Interstate 5 in Federal Way. 14-year-old in Kent arrested for DUI, evading police
Kent police arrested a 14-year-old for allegedly driving under the influence and evading police last Friday. On Friday, the teenage suspect failed to stop at a stop sign on West Meeker Street in Kent. Kent police officers working emphasis patrols initiated a stop and signaled for the car to pull over. According to police officers on the scene, the car was drifting outside of the travel lane and ran a red light.
