PCC's Summer Cooking Classes to Inspire Future Top Chefs
PCC’s cooking classes for kids and teens garner high praise and an A+ for activities that are both engaging and practical. Taught by culinary professionals and giving students a hands-on experience, they’re a memorable way to gain confidence and independence in preparing meals and encouraging culinary aspirations. Its summer schedule of classes includes a pie camp where teens make sweet and savory pies from scratch and a "world tour" for kids and teens who will cook their way through cuisines from Morocco, Brazil, Japan, Mexico, and Italy. The multiday classes run about 2½ hours per lesson; classes are held at PCC locations in Seattle and on the Eastside.

Mariners make much-needed drastic change with surprising roster move
Perhaps no team in MLB is more frustrating than the Seattle Mariners. Their rotation, even with some inconsistency from Luis Castillo and injuries to Bryan Woo leads the American League with a 3.34 ERA. Their offense, however, is abysmal. The Mariners rank 28th in runs scored and are 28th in...

Mariners Game #102 Preview: 7/22/24, LAA @ SEA
After salvaging a win out of the Astros series (and yet again avoiding the sweep) the Mariners now host Anaheim for a three game set. The vibes around the park are certainly strange today, coming off the news that Ty France was placed on waivers following last night’s game. In addition to that, Jason Vosler has been called up from Tacoma and Ryan Bliss has been sent down. That clubhouse turnover has put a slight damper on the Mariners this afternoon, but Ty France at least seems to be making the most of it.
