MILTON — Gather downtown to feel the buzz in Milton on Parkview Drive and College Street for the first Milton Community Day event of the year on Friday, May 10, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Enjoy over 70 vendors of farm-fresh produce, direct sales, food trucks, an array of crafts and nonprofits in celebration of community spirit.

As the social restraints were lifted after COVID, Andrea Geske decided to create a way to get everybody together and support small businesses, establishing Milton Community Days in 2021.

“It was a way to get people out of the house and connect with small businesses who were having a hard time reaching customers,” Geske said. The vendors will gather one Friday from May to October. Dates include: May 10; June 14; July 5; August 16; September 13; and October 18.

Downtown stores also tend to stay open later on these dates, Geske said. Each event has a theme, with some still to be determined. May’s theme is Mother’s Day, June’s is Father’s Day, July is first responders night, and October is trick or treating.

Follow the Milton Community Days Facebook page to stay up to date.
