    Oconomowoc woman, 71, dies in bicycle-vehicle collision in Minocqua, police say

    An Oconomowoc woman riding a bicycle died after colliding with a vehicle Tuesday in Minocqua, according to the Minocqua Police Department.

    Susan Kass, 71, died on the scene after being hit by a vehicle while riding a bike at the intersection of Highway 51 and Timber Ridge Road at around 12:48 p.m. She was traveling southbound, according to police.

    The driver of the vehicle, Morgan Emily Christianson, 20, of Minocqua was transported to the Howard Young Medical Center in Woodruff with injuries sustained in the accident, police said.

    Police did not provide any updates on Christianson's condition, and the accident is under investigation.

    According to the police department, this investigation is being assisted by the Oneida County Sheriff's Office, Wisconsin State Patrol, Minocqua Fire and Rescue, Hazelhurst Fire Department, Oneida County Ambulance Service and the Oneida County Medical Examiner's Office.
