    Medical examiner identifies 38-year-old shot, killed in Milwaukee Thursday morning

    The 38-year-old shot and killed early Thursday morning has been identified as David Anderson, according to the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office.

    Anderson was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a Milwaukee Police Department statement. Anderson was one of four individuals involved in the shooting.

    The other three, ages 29, 30 and 37, were injured and transported to a local hospital for treatment of gunshot wounds. All three are expected to survive, according to MPD.

    The shootings occurred around 1:50 a.m. at Premiere Sports Lounge, located at the corner of West North Avenue and North 40th Street.

    As of Tuesday, 87 people have been died by homicide this year in Milwaukee, according to police data . There have been 443 non-fatal shootings during the same time period.
