Ever since she was a child, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel investigative reporter Mary Spicuzza has heard rumors about her cousin August Palmisano, who was killed in a car bombing in downtown Milwaukeee in 1978.

Although many suspected crime boss Frank Balistrieri was behind his death, no one was ever charged in the crime.

Some 45 years later, she and Journal Sentinel multimedia producer Bill Schulz decided to try and uncover what led to her cousin's death. Their podcast, " My Cousin Augie ," chronicles their journey to unravel a true story about loyalty, jealousy, and power — and what some people are willing to do for it.
