Wisconsin great Braelon Allen, 20, catches first NFL touchdown from Packers legend Aaron Rodgers, 40

Former Wisconsin Badgers great Braelon Allen caught his first career touchdown reception as a member of the New York Jets from former Green Bay Packers legend Aaron Rodgers .

The 12-yard screen pass also results in the oldest player in the NFL (Rodgers, 40) throwing a touchdown pass to the youngest (Allen, 20). And that may happen many times throughout the season.

Allen, who was named to the All-Big Ten second team each of the three seasons he played running back for the Badgers, was selected in the fourth round by the Jets in the 2024 NFL Draft. He had a rushing and passing attempt in the Jets week 1 loss to the San Francisco 49ers. He is backup to starter Breece Hall, but some speculate Allen's role may increase throughout the season.

Allen is the youngest NFL player to score a scrimmage touchdown in 94 years since former Green Bay Packers quarterback Arnie Herber did it in 1930. The men were the exact same age when they accomplished the feat — 20 years and 239 days. Herber was added to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1966.
